Crisp packets galore – help raise money for Charity

Nicholsons is pleased to announce that they have registered for the Walkers Crisp Packet Recycling Scheme and have been successful in becoming a public drop of point. Walkers and TerraCycle have teamed up to create this free recycling scheme which accepts all brands of empty crisp packets.

Not only does the recycling scheme help minimise the impact on the environment, but it also has an added benefit in helping to support local good causes. With approximately half a billion packets of crisps consumed every day in the UK, there’s plenty of recycling to do.

Linda Clark, Marketing Manager at Nicholsons says “Not only do we want this to be an at home initiative, we also want to get as many businesses involved in the scheme as possible. Just remember the impact these bags can have on our environment, as well as helping to raise money for Charity.”

To support this initiative all you have to do is to collect all your empty crisp packets both at home and in your work place. Simply drop them off at Nicholsons’ office at The Point on Weaver Road, Lincoln, LN6 3QN or call Linda on 01522 815100.  The empty packets will be sent in two kilo batches to TerraCycle.  Each batch will earn points, which in turn will be converted into money and automatically donated to the firm’s registered Charity, St Barnabas Hospice – so start collecting today!
